King Never Podcast #8 - Background Vocals Needed

May 25th, 2009

In this episode, I ask for help recording background vocals for Hotel Desolation. Yes, this is your chance to really get involved with the new album.

Download Hotel Desolation here to record your vocals. Align this mp3 file at beat one in your sequencer and set the tempo to 125 bpm. You should hear 4 clicks before the song begins. Record at either 16 or 24 bit (44.1kHz).

Here are the lyrics:

Checking in to….
Checking out of this life.
Welcome all ye feeble minded.
Checking in to….
Checking out of this life.
Hotel Desolation.

Drop your mp3 mix of the track with your background vocals in the “DropBox” below. If I like what I hear, I’ll ask you for a full bandwidth version via email.

Thanks for listening!

Send me your track

King Never Podcast #5 - Side Tracked Gravity Guitar

Ruptured Ear Drum = No Podcast This Week

March 30th, 2009

Due to an ear infection, my right ear drum has ruptured and is totally plugged up. My left ear can’t decide what it is doing.

EVERYTHING sounds WEIRD.

I haven’t recorded ANYTHING in the last week.

I was going to put out a podcast episode featuring one of the new songs in its entirety, but it sounded like CRAP.  Do I normally sound that bad?  I sincerely hope not.

In short, I cannot trust what I am, or am not, hearing.  Bear with me and stand by for next week.

Hopefully.
